The staircase of the Liebling House is a terrazzo cast that has worn out, eroded and cracked over the years. German terrazzo master Michael Durrer and conservation expert Dr. Norbert Hoepfer will lead a two-day workshop, where they will share professional secrets of evaluating terrazzo casting, conservation, and restoration. Participants will learn to identify the damages of time in the terrazzo casting and prepare a cast identical to the original in terms of compounds and colors.
