Speaker: Prof. Siona Shimshi
The biography of multi-disciplinary artist Prof. Siona Shimshi is intertwined with the history of design and architecture in Israel. Over the past 60 years, she has left a mark on art, design, curation, and academics, creating a rich body of work. In her lecture, she will talk about the historical and local bathroom, the connection between bodily excretion habits and sanitary ware, and the relationship between the body and the fixtures found in bathrooms and toilets.
