Join The Facade Conservation Workshops at the Liebling House
March-April-May 2019
After more than 80 years, the international style buildings in Tel Aviv-Yafo should be revived, restored, and protected from the ravages of time. The Open for Renovation project of the White City Center at the Liebling House is concluding with a unique facade restoration workshop of a registered building. The workshop will focus on the rehabilitation of cracks using innovative technologies, and painting with special paint from Germany. The workshop - attended by meisters, plaster and paint experts and students from Germany and Israel - is designed to share professional knowledge, feature new conservation technologies, provide technical and professional experience, and promote cultural cooperation.
We have four vacancies - one in each workshop:
- Cracks and plaster restoration and repair workshop - March 24-28
- Cracks and plaster restoration and repair workshop - March 31 - April 4
- Cracks and plaster restoration workshop - April 7-11
- Painting Workshop - May 12-16
The workshop is suitable for individuals with a basic knowledge of conservation. Send us information about yourself and your experience so we can select the most qualified participants: office@whitcitycenter.org.
It is a one-time opportunity to experience real-time restoration and participate in an international experts‘ workshop.
There will be a mandatory course for work at height which will take place on the first day of each seminar.
The workshop is fully subsidized by the German Sto-Foundation and participation is free of charge.
